Error code: 0xc0000001 and BSOD Bad_Systrm_Config_Info at the same time

Hello there, I'm having 2 errors at the same time; error code 0xc0000001 and bsod Bad System Config Info.

How this happen? I'm not sure this is the cause of the issue, previously I'm trying to open a third party app but it won't launch; it was fine before, but for some reasone that I don't understand it won't launch. Then I uninstalled the app and then restart the laptop and the error screen showed up

I'm looking how to fix the issue on the internet, the proven method is using the automatic repair on start up. But, these two error won't let me access it because they loop into each other. They said, how to access the automatic repair is while the windows logo or the manufacurer logo shows up, I need to turn off the pc then repeat this process three times. But every time I turn the pc on, it always ends up into these two errors. So I'm stuck in a loop.

Btw, I'm using windows 10 on Asus X441U

Can somebody help me please?

Hi, Fajri,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

You can try to power on your computer while keeping the "Shift" key pressed to enter the Windows Recovery Environment. Once you are on the WinRe you can use the system restore to restore your computer to a previous point before the problem.

1-Restart your computer while holding the “Shift” button

2-The Advanced Startup menu will open on the boot.

3-Go to Troubleshoot.

4-Now, go to Advanced Options > System restore

5-Select a restore point and click on next to restore

If you don't have any system restore point or the system restore fails, you can use the Command Prompt to repair the boot files.

1-Restart your computer while holding the "Shift” button

2-The Advanced Startup menu will open on the boot.

3-Go to Troubleshoot.

4-Now, go to Advanced Options >Command prompt

5-Run these commands:

chkdsk c: /f /r (and press Enter)

bootrec /fixmbr (and press Enter)

bootrec /fixboot (and press Enter)

bootrec /scanos (and press Enter)

bootrec /rebuildbcd (and press Enter)

sfc /scannow (and press Enter)

6-When finish close the command prompt then click to return to the first screen

7-Click to continue to normal boot

6-Verify that the EFI partition (EPS) is using the FAT32 file system and assign a drive letter to it that is not already in use:

sel vol <number of volume> (and press Enter)

assign letter=Z: (and press Enter)

exit (and press Enter)

7-In order to repair the boot record:

cd /d Z:\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\ (and press Enter)

bootrec /FixBoot (and press Enter)

ren BCD BCD.old (and press Enter)

bcdboot c:\Windows /l en-us /s <boot letter>: All (and press Enter)

(Note: The <boot letter> is replaced with the letter of the drive that you are booting from. (For example, C:\, D:\)

8-When finished close the command prompt then click to return to the first screen

9-Click to continue to normal boot

If you cannot enter the Windows Recovery Environment using the "Shift" key, you will need to use another computer to create a bootable USB with the Windows installation and use it to repair your computer.

1-Create a USB device with an installation image.

You can create using the media creation tool, download it on this link.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

2-Enter on BIOS/UEFI and change to boot from the USB device.

3-On the installation screen click on "Repair your pc" in the left bottom

4-Click on "Troubleshoot" and then the Advanced Options page will appear.

5-Then you can try the system restore or repair the boot files using the Command Prompt

If you receive any error message, take a photo and attach it here to help identify what is causing the problem.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.
